Comment:
Hi, I might make the jump to pro ET class……….I was shopping for buttons and ran across yours………I notice yours goes in .02 increments……….some buttons have very fine adjustments, do you have a solution to adjust, say, 5 thou out?

Thank you for your help!

Dear Drag Racing Customer,

Thank you for your interest in Apex Machining’s Slooow Release NHRA approved TransBrake button!

The .02 increments you mention are broad, and meant to be only a starting gauge for drivers. All TransBrake buttons that use springs ( one that is mentioned is not adjustable ) will respond very differently from car to car, from driver to driver and even to where and how it is mounted. It is only through trial that all racers using adjustable spring based buttons ( our button is the original AST ( Alternative Spring Technology) button), find the best combination for their application, since it is not a delay box.

Apex Machining, Inc is proud of being the first and only all billet aluminum adjustable spring TransBrake button available, compared to the plastic construction of the other buttons you mention, and we prefer the spring be secured to prevent it from dislodging. To keep costs down for the racers our springs are not color coded, a simple swipe of your colored magic marker will allow you to quickly recognize your favorite spring.

We hope you choose the button that best serves your application. If you choose the Apex button feel free to call for one on one Q&A for your personal application!

Regards,
Apex Machining, Inc
